Book a photo studio by the hour, like a hotel room

Studio owners put their space online and set their own hours. Renters see the price before they have to ask anyone.

Spottle — Book a photo studio by the hour, like a hotel room

What was wrong

Renting a studio for three hours meant calling around, asking what it costs, and waiting to hear back. Owners had the opposite problem: no way to be found by anyone who wasn't already a friend of a friend.

What we built

A site where you pick a city, a kind of space and a date, see the hourly price straight away, choose your hours and book. Owners add their own space, set their own rate and block out the times they need it themselves.

What's inside it

The parts that had to work before anyone could use it.

01
The price before you ask
An hourly rate on every listing, so nobody has to send an enquiry to find out.
02
Pick the hours you need
Two hours on Tuesday morning is a normal booking, not a special request.
03
Browse by kind of space
Photo studios, podcast rooms, meeting rooms, workshop spaces, event venues.
04
Owners list in one sitting
Photos, what's in the room, the rate. No call with us needed.
05
Owners keep their calendar
Block a weekend, open an evening, change the rate — themselves.
06
Reviews and discount codes
The things that make a new marketplace feel worth trying.
